34/52: Peacock Digs

“A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2013.”

Coco: Digging in socks… The twins have been wearing odd socks for months – usually their sister’s pink hand-me-downs. I really need to buy some new ones.
Juju: I’m not sure why she put a bucket on her head. But it kept her entertained for a while. She often shuts her eyes and tries to walk around.
Mowgli: Chasing Mr Peacock on tippy toes.

Another roadhouse camp ground. This time we were on our way from Uluru to Katherine.

There are peacocks everywhere in the Northern Territory. The males are the ones with the incredible feathers.

The twins were kept busy trying to catch them. And digging. They love the dirt.
